The Perskes have a long history of advocating for the rights of those with disabilities. In Circles of Friends, a warm and sensitive collection of true stories, the Perskes offer insights and issues to ponder, concerning friendships between people with disabilities and others (so-called normals). The Perskes show how these circles cut across age groups, generations and races, and how the hearts and worldviews of everyone can be enriched.
